Gardening enhances our lives in so many ways, whether it is visiting beautiful gardens, learning how to create them, growing food and cooking it, even decorating our houses. Gardens South West aims to maximise the enjoyment we get from our gardens. Firstly, we run a great range of vibrant educational courses for all gardeners. Although we consider ourselves a ‘school of gardening’ we are not based at one location but use a selection of excellent gardens and nurseries to teach traditional and modern skills.  In this way it is possible, through our workshops and study mornings, to meet and learn from horticulturalists with a wide variety of experience.

Secondly, we want to challenge conventional ideas and introduce a wide range of garden styles by visiting wonderful gardens, gardeners, nurserymen and designers here in the southwest of England. We find the most interesting, entertaining and knowledgeable and plan a variety of events and tours throughout the summer and autumn season.
